Boyz II Men

Biographie :
Formé à Philadelphie en 1988 les membres du groupe mythique sont Michael McCary, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris et Shawn Stockman . Alors qu'ils définissent leur musique comme " Hip-Hop Doo Wop ", il faut bien se dire que les Boyz II Men ont vraiment révolutionné la BlackMusic en s'inspirant des sons des années 6o et du début des années 7o, pour devenir LE groupe R'n'b référence des années 90 en rajoutant un peu de New Jack Swing.
Le groupe fait ses débuts en 1991 avec l'album Cooleyhighharmony et le single Motownphilly , mais c'est surtout le second single, la ballade It's So Hard To Say Goodbye qui rencontrera le plus grand succès auprès du public.
En 1993 les Boyz II Men sortiront même un album de de Noël. C'est ensuite au tour de " II " de sortir en 1994, vendu à plus de 7 millions d'exemplaires en 1 an grâce notamment au fameux I'll Make Love To You .
Troisième album " Evolution " à sortir en 1997 suivi avec plus de succès trois ans plus tard par " Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya " en 2ooo et le single " Pass You By "
Les 4 Lovers signent ensuite chez Arista Records pour sortir en 2ooo " Full Circle ".
Malheureusement Michael McCary quitte les Boyz II Men, ils ne sont donc plus que trois en 2oo4 pour l'album Throwback .
